Keeping Our Residents Informed and as Active as They Want to Be
Hi! This website has been developed as a training resource for those who are involved in creating the monthly newsletter/eblast for our communities. You will see 3 terms used interchangeably when referring to our monthly emails:
- Campaign - this is how Constant Contact refers to them.
- Eblast - some of our residents and employees use this term.
- Newsletter - some of our residents and employees use this term.
They all mean the same thing. This will help you learn the ins and outs, dos and don't and even the how-tos of creating our monthly digital communication with the residents at each community. The instructions are broken into 3 different areas, defined below.
First Things First
The very first thing to know is the basics of how to navigate Constant Contact. It becomes very easy to complete your sections of the eblast when you know right where to go to do what you want to.
Once you complete this section, the next one will be super easy, so make sure you do them in order.
We truly appreciate being able to communicate digitally with our residents via our monthly eblasts. We maintain that by sending them relevant information they can use about events and happenings, both within the community and around them locally. Remind them why they chose your community and the area, every month.
Remember, it's all about location, location, location!
Photographs, pictures, and graphics - oh my! No worries. When you finish this section, you will know where to source great images for the eblast to make sure we avoid any copyright violations. You will also know the correct sizes to use, how to save them, upload them and use them.
