Save the Date

And, this is where the editing begins.  Let's start at the top.

The first section is "SAVE THE DATE" is at the top of the eblast and includes 2 separate lists. We like to call attention to anything that is coming up in the community for the month of the eblast and the next few. This gives our residents a summary view that's quick and easy to access from anywhere they get their email - phone, tablet or desktop computer. Details and/or additional information about the current month's events would be included in the Community Events articles.

    1. Upcoming Events
      This section contains the events taking place inside the community. The list follows the following format:
      *  DATE - Event Name
      *  Dates are listed in chronological order, so the events earlier in the month are at the top.
      *  All items listed for the current month should have an accompanying article shown in the section titled "COMMUNITY EVENTS". It might help to think of this as the Table of Contents for this month's events.
      *  We also list items coming up in the next couple of months at the bottom of the list to give our residents a heads up so they can plan for larger events.
      .
    2. Recurring Events
      This section contains events that happen inside the community month after month. It doesn't usually change very much, but do check major holidays to see if you need to put a note that an event may be "cancelled due to Christmas" or things like that.
      This list follows a daily style format with activities for that day listed in time order:
      Monday
      - 9:00am - Shuffleboard
      - 11:00am - Crafting in Clubhouse
      Tuesday
      - 9:00am - Aqua Fitness in Pool
      - 1:00pm - Bridge in Card room
      - 3:00pm - Rummy in Card room
